My elderly parents live in the north of Spain without an internet connection. I have booked their flights with Ryanair to come back to the UK. My question is this. Is online check in now mandatory, and if it is (I will have to do it for them here in the UK) how long will it take for the post to arrive if I post them their printouts? I imagine the UK postal strike will have an effect on the time it takes to arrive. Usually I wouldn't worry, but they're flying next week!

| If i were you i would not post just incase they do not get there on time. Is there no way you can get them to go to an interet cafe and ask the person working in the shop to print them off. |

Or do they have a neighbour/friend/local store/fax machine number they can reach that you can fax printouts to? |

| I hear the strike has come to an end so things should be back to normal soon. The issue is if it all starts again just before xmas. They never strike in January. |

If I were a Royal Mail employee with a grudge, I would strike just before Christmas. Can you imagine the pressure the bosses would be under and the amount of angry customers?
